Rashid Khan Retains Top Spot as ICC Men’s ODI Bowling Rankings Updated for December 2025

The ICC updated its Men’s ODI Bowling Rankings on 6 December 2025, with Rashid Khan leading the table at 710 points. Jofra Archer, Kuldeep Yadav, Maheesh Theekshana and Keshav Maharaj follow in a competitive top tier that highlights rising talents and global depth in ODI bowling.

Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan has once again asserted his dominance in limited-overs cricket, maintaining his position at the top of the ICC Men’s ODI Bowling Rankings in the latest update issued on 6 December 2025. The leg-spinner, long regarded as one of the most formidable bowlers in world cricket, leads the list with 710 rating points, while his career-best remains an exceptional 799 achieved against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi in 2018.

England’s pace spearhead Jofra Archer holds the second spot with 670 points. Archer, who staged a strong comeback to international cricket earlier this year, continues to strengthen his ODI credentials. His highest rating of 683 came against New Zealand at Hamilton in 2025.

India’s Kuldeep Yadav sits at No. 3 with 655 points. Although below his career-best 761 at Bay Oval in 2019, the left-arm wrist-spinner remains one of India’s most potent white-ball weapons. Sri Lanka’s Maheesh Theekshana follows closely at fourth with 647 points, backed by his career-best 686 earned against Australia at Colombo (RPS) earlier this year.

South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj occupies the fifth position with 646 points. Despite being slightly off his peak rating of 741 recorded in Kolkata during the 2023 World Cup, the experienced spinner remains a consistent force in the Proteas lineup. Namibia’s Bernard Scholtz continues to impress as an associate-nation standout, placed sixth with 645 points, just shy of his career-best 648 earned against Oman in Scotland in 2024.
