Amit Shah Faces Sharp Criticism as Supriya Shrinate Urges Him to Accept Rahul Gandhi’s Debate Challenge
Congress leader Supriya Shrinate sharply criticizes Home Minister Amit Shah for allegedly avoiding questions on vote manipulation during his Parliament address. She urges him to accept Rahul Gandhi’s debate challenge and condemns his use of an “unparliamentary” term as the Speaker remained silent.
Shrinate further escalated the political exchange by urging Shah to accept Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s open challenge for a public debate. She argued that if the Home Minister was confident in his position and his claims, he should engage directly with Gandhi in a transparent discussion before the country.
The Congress leader also criticized Shah’s conduct in the House, alleging that his frustration became evident when he used what she called “an inappropriate and unparliamentary expression,” including the word ‘saala’. She expressed concern that the presiding officer did not intervene, describing the Speaker’s response as that of a “silent spectator” at a moment requiring immediate action to uphold parliamentary dignity.
Shrinate’s remarks have intensified an already heated political atmosphere, raising questions about the tone of parliamentary discourse and the opposition’s continued pressure on the government over electoral integrity. With the debate challenge now publicly reiterated, political observers expect further escalation as both parties position themselves ahead of upcoming political battles.
