Ghaziabad Officials Advance Land Acquisition Talks for Harnandipuram Dream Project Amid Farmers’ Concerns
Ghaziabad Development Authority accelerates land acquisition for the Harnandipuram Dream Project, with 35 of 520 required hectares already registered. Officials are engaging farmers amid concerns over compensation and circle rates, aiming for smooth progress of the major urban development initiative.
Kalal noted that the GDA’s existing land bank contains additional parcels earmarked for development, a factor he believes will help prevent delays and ensure smoother implementation. He emphasized that despite initial resistance from some farmers—primarily over compensation concerns tied to lower circle rates—officials have been holding consistent dialogue with landowners to address grievances and clarify procedural details.
The vice chairperson stressed that resolving farmers’ issues remains a top administrative priority, and the authority is working to build consensus through transparent communication and regular outreach. As the project continues to gather momentum, its progress is expected to shape urban expansion in Ghaziabad, influencing both regional infrastructure and long-term development planning.
