Noida Police have arrested four members of a theft and snatching gang operating across Delhi–NCR. The Sector 58 team recovered 52 mobile phones, gold chains, a motorcycle, and a knife. The accused are linked to over 100 incidents and hold more than two dozen cases each, marking a major breakthrough in Noida’s crime control efforts.
According to police officials, the group had been targeting pedestrians and commuters, primarily stealing mobile phones, gold chains, motorcycles, and other valuables. Investigators believe the gang is linked to more than 100 criminal incidents reported in the wider NCR area. Each of the arrested individuals is said to have over two dozen cases already registered against them.
During the arrests, authorities recovered a substantial cache of stolen property, including 52 mobile phones, gold chains, a motorcycle, and a knife. Police stated that the bust followed sustained surveillance and coordinated efforts to track the movement of the suspects, all of whom allegedly operated as part of an organized network.
The successful crackdown marks a notable step in curbing street crime in Noida, reaffirming the police department’s commitment to ensuring public safety. Officers say further investigation is underway to identify additional associates and to trace the origins and intended distribution of the recovered items.
