Dr. Morepen Partners with VIT Bhopal to Launch Integrated On-Campus Healthcare Centre
Dr. Morepen and VIT Bhopal University have signed an MoU to establish a fully integrated on-campus Health Centre offering medical consultations, diagnostics, emergency support, pharmacy services, preventive healthcare, and wellness programmes. The initiative marks the beginning of Dr. Morepen’s nationwide plan to expand healthcare centres across educational and corporate institutions in India.
In a significant step toward strengthening healthcare access within educational institutions, Dr. Morepen and VIT Bhopal University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a fully integrated Dr. Morepen Health Centre on the university campus. The partnership introduces a new healthcare model specifically designed for educational institutions, with plans to expand similar centres across universities, schools, and corporate campuses throughout India.
The MoU was signed by Dr. G. Viswanathan, Founder and Chancellor of VIT Group of Institutions, in the presence of Dr. Sankar Viswanathan, Vice President of VIT Bhopal, along with senior leadership representatives from Dr. Morepen.
Under the agreement, Dr. Morepen will manage and enhance the university’s on-campus healthcare infrastructure by providing comprehensive medical consultations, a day care centre for minor procedures, non-critical emergency care support, advanced pathology and diagnostic services, pharmacy facilities, preventive health check-ups, wellness programmes, and student-focused health awareness and lifestyle initiatives.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. G. Viswanathan said he was pleased that VIT Bhopal University had entered into the agreement with Dr. Morepen Health Centre. He stated that the initiative would ensure healthcare support not only for students but also for teachers, non-teaching staff, and their families. Highlighting that more than 17,000 students from different parts of India study at the university, he emphasized the importance of ensuring their health and well-being.
Dr. Morepen Home currently serves more than 4,000 families across Delhi NCR by providing healthcare services directly at home, including doctor consultations, nursing care, vaccinations, intravenous therapies, and long-term family care programmes.
Abhishek Bhayana, Founder of Dr. Morepen Home, said the organisation was built on the principle that quality healthcare should reach people wherever they are. He noted that thousands of families already trust the company for healthcare services at home and expressed pride in bringing the same standard of care to VIT Bhopal. He added that this facility would be the first of many Dr. Morepen Health Centres planned across universities, schools, and office campuses nationwide.
A dedicated pathology laboratory and pharmacy within the Health Centre are expected to strengthen access to essential healthcare services for students and the wider campus community.
Amrit Ravi, Lead – Emerging Opportunities and Vice President of Dr. Morepen Group, said that bringing diagnostic services directly to campus would enable earlier detection of health conditions, improve preventive care, and contribute to healthier communities.
The VIT Bhopal Health Centre represents the first step in Dr. Morepen’s vision of creating a nationwide network of healthcare centres across educational institutions in India, aimed at improving accessibility, preventive healthcare, and overall wellness.
