India Connect Event in Tokyo Strengthens India–Japan Next Generation Talent and Skills Partnership
India Connect 4th edition held in Tokyo by Embassy of India with Sumitomo Realty and Development focused on India–Japan next generation partnership in talent and skill collaboration. Officials including R Madhu Sudan and Junichi Ishidera emphasized economic complementarities, business opportunities, and regional cooperation including upcoming Yamanashi delegation to Uttar Pradesh in August.
In an official communication shared on social media, the Embassy of India in Japan stated that Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy in Tokyo, R. Madhu Sudan, highlighted the complementarities between the Indian and Japanese economies and the wide-ranging opportunities these present for businesses. He further underscored the importance of strengthening people-to-people exchanges in alignment with the outcomes of the Annual Summit between the two nations.
The event also featured remarks from the Vice Governor of Yamanashi Prefecture, Junichi Ishidera, who highlighted the growing prefecture-level partnerships and expanding business ties. He further outlined plans to send a business delegation from Yamanashi to Uttar Pradesh in August this year, marking a continued effort to deepen regional cooperation and economic engagement.
The INDIA CONNECT initiative in Tokyo reaffirmed the shared commitment of India and Japan to advance talent mobility, skill development, and subnational collaboration, reinforcing the strategic direction of their evolving partnership.
