Group 108 showcased its retail vision at the Phygital Retail Convention 2026 in Mumbai, held at Jio Convention Center on May 13–14. With over 3,000 attendees, 1,000+ brands, and 100,000+ sq. ft. exhibition space, the group highlighted ONE FNG and Grandthum as models of experience-led retail transformation and future-ready commercial development.
The Phygital Retail Convention 2026 served as a major convergence platform for the retail industry, bringing together leading retailers, franchise networks, developers, consumer brands, technology innovators, and industry experts. The two-day event witnessed participation from more than 3,000 attendees representing over 1,000 brands. It also featured more than 30 conference sessions and an extensive exhibition area spanning over 100,000 square feet. Discussions at the convention focused on the future of physical and digital commerce, retail technology, commercial real estate, design innovation, and customer experience transformation.
Within this environment, Group 108 positioned its showcase as a reflection of evolving retail dynamics, where spatial design, consumer movement, and behavioural engagement converge to shape long-term brand interactions. The group emphasized a transition in retail thinking, moving away from transactional models toward immersive environments that actively influence consumer perception and engagement.
Grandthum was presented as a high-energy commercial destination, designed to move beyond the concept of a conventional retail space. Its expansive high-street format, continuous storefront visibility, and seamless pedestrian circulation were highlighted as key design elements intended to convert footfall into meaningful consumer engagement.
Alongside this, ONE FNG was introduced as a distinct retail ecosystem focused on sustained engagement, premium audience targeting, and continuous consumer flow. The development was positioned as a model designed to enhance brand visibility while supporting long-term value creation for retailers and occupiers.
Throughout the two-day convention, Group 108’s participation emerged as a focal point for strategic discussions among retailers, franchise operators, and expansion planners assessing the future trajectory of physical retail infrastructure.
Sharing his perspective, Sanchit Bhutani, Managing Director of Group 108, stated, “Retail is no longer defined by location alone; it is shaped by the experience it delivers. What we are building at Grandthum and ONE FNG is not just retail space, but environments that encourage engagement, strengthen brand presence, and create long-term value. The Phygital Retail Convention has been an important platform to engage with brands that share this forward-looking outlook.”
Group 108’s presence at the Phygital Retail Convention 2026 reinforced its strategic direction toward developing immersive retail environments aligned with changing consumer expectations and the evolving demands of modern brands.
