The Gauri Shankar Seva Dal Cow Shelter, Sector 45D, played a crucial role in managing arrangements for the procession. Vinod Kumar, Manager of the Sector 45 Cow Shelter, stated that under the Somnath Pride Festival 2026, nationwide ceremonial Kalash processions are being organized to commemorate 75 years of the reconstruction of the Somnath Temple and to honor a history spanning over a thousand years of struggle and glory. He emphasized that the initiative represents a revival of Indian culture, faith, and Sanatan values, aiming to reconnect society with its traditional roots.
He further remarked that the legacy of Somnath has historically symbolized unity, confidence, and unwavering faith within Indian society. According to him, whenever the nation’s cultural identity has faced challenges, Sanatan traditions have consistently provided renewed strength and resilience to the community.
The program also received notable support from Abhishek Sharma, Director of Tagore Theatre, whose contribution was acknowledged in ensuring the successful execution of the cultural event.
