PM Modi Urges NDA MPs to Focus on Easing Public Life, Strengthening Youth Outreach
Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged NDA MPs during a Winter Session strategy meeting to focus on easing citizens’ everyday challenges and strengthening youth outreach. He is also set to host a special dinner on December 11 to boost coordination and discuss legislative priorities and upcoming state election strategies.
Following the session, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju briefed reporters, noting that NDA leaders congratulated Modi on the alliance’s performance in the recent Bihar elections. According to Rijiju, the Prime Minister emphasized that legislators must remain deeply connected to their constituencies, prioritizing reforms that ensure citizens face no avoidable difficulties in accessing services or exercising their rights. Modi stressed that laws must serve as instruments of public welfare and urged MPs to strengthen engagement with young people across the country.
The Prime Minister is also expected to host a special dinner for all NDA MPs on 11 December as part of efforts to reinforce coordination and streamline legislative strategy during the Winter Session. A senior BJP leader said the proposed gathering aims to provide a platform for open and constructive discussions among coalition partners. The dinner is likely to cover legislative priorities, a review of the government’s broader agenda for the current session, and measures to consolidate the NDA’s political roadmap.
The interaction is also expected to address preparations for upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Assam, allowing alliance partners to refine their strategies ahead of crucial state polls. Senior ministers, parliamentary leaders, and MPs from all constituent parties are expected to participate in the deliberations.
The series of meetings underscores the government’s push to maintain unity within the alliance and ensure legislative momentum during a politically significant season, while placing renewed emphasis on constituency-focused governance and wider public engagement.
