Suryakumar Yadav sends message among others
The men’s team also encouraged the side to play a fearless brand of cricket in the final and to follow the same routine they have so far. Captain Suryakumar Yadav, in the meantime, congratulated the team for an amazing campaign so far and asked the women’s team for one last push in the final in Navi Mumbai.
“Wishing the women’s team, all the very best for the World Cup final. Just enjoy the occasion, be yourself. I think you have had an amazing campaign till now. My boys and the whole support staff, we are with you. Last push for India, Jai Hind,” Suryakumar said in the video.
Notably, keeper-batter Jitesh Sharma sent a special message to fellow Maharashtrian Smriti Mandhana, asking her to play a great innings in the final and win the game for India. “Smriti, special best of luck to you. Play an amazing innings in the final and finish the match. All the best to the rest of the women’s team,” Jitesh said.
