A mobile phone explosion at Drishti Skin and Child Clinic in Gwalior's Thatipur area triggered panic among patients and staff. CCTV captured the incident, while clinic staff rushed to control the fire in a waiting room with infants nearby.
The explosion caused alarm inside the clinic as the mobile phone of a waiting patient suddenly burst into flames. Clinic staff immediately rushed to control the fire and used water to douse it. The absence of a fire extinguisher at the clinic made the situation more challenging, but staff managed to extinguish the flames before anyone was injured.
The incident was captured on CCTV footage, which recorded the sudden explosion and the ensuing chaos inside the waiting room.
In Gwalior’s Drishti Clinic, a patient’s mobile phone suddenly exploded on Sunday afternoon in the waiting area, causing a fire and complete panic. A woman with her newborn baby was sitting right next to him. Shockingly, in such a big hospital, there was no fire extinguisher available. The fire had to be put out with water. Is this the level of safety in Gwalior’s hospitals? CC : @MPPoliceDeptt https://t.co/nwRJDaDMF4
