India vs New Zealand ODI Series: Two Key Players Ruled Out, Major Squad Changes

India vs New Zealand ODI series begins November 4, but injuries to Mark Chapman and Rachin Ravindra have forced major squad changes. Tim Seifert, Henry Nicholls and Dean Foxcroft join the revised New Zealand squad.

The India vs New Zealand ODI series is just two days away, but New Zealand have already suffered a setback ahead of the opening match. Two key players have been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series due to injuries, forcing the team to make significant changes to its squad. Both teams are set to shift their focus to the 50-over format after the conclusion of the T20 International series.

Mark Chapman and Rachin Ravindra Set to Miss ODI Series

The five-match ODI series between India and New Zealand will begin on November 4, with the squad having already been announced. However, Mark Chapman and Rachin Ravindra have not yet recovered fully from their respective injuries, making their participation in the series highly unlikely.

Mark Chapman is struggling with a hamstring injury and is likely to require around two more weeks to regain full fitness. Rachin Ravindra, meanwhile, suffered a shoulder dislocation during a promotional shoot. He will also need more time before returning to the field.
