Galgotias University and 247VC Launch Entrepreneurship and Venture Excellence Program to Build Next-Generation Startup Founders
Galgotias University and 247VC have launched the Entrepreneurship and Venture Excellence Program to promote startup development through investor mentorship and venture capital access. The initiative integrates on-campus VC engagement, practical startup training, and structured funding pathways, aiming to bridge the gap between education and entrepreneurship in India.
The initiative is designed to establish a direct bridge between academic learning and real-world venture creation by embedding investor engagement within the university ecosystem. Under this partnership, dedicated on-campus engagement spaces will be created to facilitate continuous interaction between students, venture capital professionals, startup mentors, founder networks, and venture-building experts. The objective is to enable students to transform ideas, research outcomes, and prototypes into scalable ventures through structured guidance and capital access.
Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, Chief Executive Officer of Galgotias University, stated that the partnership represents a unique model in which a venture capital fund maintains an active operational presence within the university environment. He emphasized that direct engagement with investors and startup ecosystem leaders will allow students to accelerate the journey from ideation to execution, supported by mentorship and structured venture-building frameworks.
The program seeks to address a critical gap in entrepreneurship education across Indian universities by shifting focus from theoretical learning to investor-validated, execution-oriented training. It aims to prepare students for real-world startup environments through continuous exposure to funding mechanisms, market realities, and scaling strategies.
