Land Dispute Turns Violent in Maharajganj Village; Assault Video Goes Viral
A young man was seriously injured after an alleged assault linked to a long-running land dispute in Tikulahiya village of Maharajganj district. The incident, captured on video and widely shared on social media, has triggered a police investigation while residents question the handling of the dispute by local administrative and revenue authorities.
According to reports, the victim and the opposing party had been involved in a prolonged dispute over a piece of land. Allegations state that tensions stemming from the ongoing conflict escalated when several individuals forcibly entered the victim’s residence and launched a brutal assault. The victim sustained serious injuries during the attack.
