Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kuwait Amir Hold High-Level Telephonic Dialogue on West Asia Security Situation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephonic conversation with Kuwait Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah on West Asia security concerns. The leaders discussed escalating regional tensions, India’s condemnation of attacks on Kuwait’s sovereignty, and emphasized de-escalation, dialogue, and diplomacy for restoring peace and stability. PM Modi also thanked Kuwait for ensuring the safety and welfare of the Indian community residing in the country.
During the discussion, both leaders exchanged detailed views on the rapidly developing regional security environment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep concern over the escalation of tensions in West Asia and firmly reiterated India’s strong condemnation of attacks on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Kuwait.
