The Narcotics Control Bureau seized 349 kilograms of cocaine worth ₹1,745 crore in Mumbai, dismantling a major international drug syndicate. Home Minister Amit Shah praised the operation as a strategic success, highlighting India’s intensified crackdown on global narcotics trafficking networks.

 

In a major breakthrough in the fight against narcotics trafficking, the Narcotics Control Bureau has seized 349 kilograms of high-grade cocaine in Mumbai, with an estimated value of ₹1,745 crore. The operation is being described as a significant strike against an international drug cartel operating within and beyond India.

According to official information, the large-scale seizure was part of a targeted operation aimed at dismantling a well-organized international narcotics network. The recovery of such a substantial quantity of cocaine highlights the scale and sophistication of the syndicate involved.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah publicly commended the Narcotics Control Bureau for its decisive action, describing the operation as a strategic success in India’s ongoing battle against illegal drug trafficking.
