During the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the state’s higher and technical education department and the English and Foreign Languages University, marking a significant step toward enhancing language education and employability in the region.
Chief Minister Sharma emphasized that the importance of foreign languages is rapidly increasing for Rajasthan, stating that learning such languages will create greater access to employment opportunities. He noted the strong presence of youth at the programme and reiterated the commitment of the government to deliver on its promises. He stressed that the administration aims to ensure that employment opportunities are created within villages so that rural youth can find work locally.
Referring to past challenges, Sharma stated that young people had previously suffered due to examination paper leaks. He asserted that his government is dedicated to fulfilling the aspirations of the youth. Highlighting a shift in priorities, he declared that learning foreign languages is no longer optional but has become essential in today’s globalized world. He encouraged young people to acquire these skills and establish themselves on the global stage.
Quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message that this is the right time, Sharma reinforced the urgency of skill development. He also acknowledged that migrants from Rajasthan remain deeply connected to their homeland and retain a strong sense of belonging. Announcing upcoming village-level initiatives scheduled for the 23rd, 24th, and 25th, he reiterated the government’s focus on ensuring local employment opportunities.
Taking a critical stance on the previous administration, Sharma claimed that people had suffered significantly and pointed out that 351 examinations were conducted over two and a quarter years. He questioned whether even a single paper leak had occurred under the current government, asserting improved governance and transparency.
