CM Bhajan Lal Sharma Unleashes ₹416 Crore Development Surge in Osian, Launches Scathing Attack on Congress Legacy

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma inaugurates ₹416 crore development projects in Osian, Jodhpur, while delivering a powerful critique of the Congress party's legacy. The CM emphasized welfare for farmers and youth, vowed to end corruption and paper leaks, and announced an increase in Kisan Samman Nidhi to ₹12,000, signaling a transformative era for Rajasthan’s infrastructure and public integrity.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s high-profile visit to Jodhpur culminated in a momentous ceremony at Osian, where he performed the foundation stone laying and inauguration of development projects valued at ₹416 crore. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister declared that regardless of the assembly constituency, his administration remains unswervingly dedicated to holistic development. He emphasized that the government's mission is deeply rooted in the welfare of farmers, livestock rearers, laborers, women, and the youth, sending a resolute message of commitment to these key demographics. Turning his focus to the political landscape, Sharma launched a fierce offensive against the Congress party regarding the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, asserting that the opposition needs to be taught a lesson for its historical conduct.

The Chief Minister accused the previous Congress administration of actively obstructing progress by shutting down essential schemes. Highlighting the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP), he noted that this ₹90 lakh crore initiative is set to bring transformative benefits to the entire region, contrasting this with his claim that Congress remained indifferent toward development despite seventy years in power. Sharma reiterated that his government is strictly dedicated to advancing water, electricity, and road infrastructure alongside public welfare schemes. Addressing the sensitive issue of paper leaks that plagued the previous era, the Chief Minister maintained that not a single leak has occurred under his watch, urging Rajasthan’s youth to focus entirely on their studies with the assurance that the state stands firmly behind them.

The discourse grew particularly somber as Sharma addressed Congress’s rhetoric regarding the refinery project, stating with a heavy heart that the opposition's actions concerning the refinery are a matter of public record. He issued a stern warning that hooliganism and corruption will no longer be tolerated in Rajasthan. Citing the Jal Jeevan Mission, the Chief Minister vowed that those involved in scams would face imprisonment. Furthermore, he highlighted the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, noting that through the combined efforts of the Central and State governments, the financial assistance for farmers in Rajasthan is being increased from ₹9,000 to ₹12,000. This administrative overhaul and massive capital injection signify a pivotal shift in the state's governance, aiming to eradicate institutional corruption while cementing a foundation for long-term regional prosperity.
