Akhilesh Yadav Pays Tribute to Rezang La Heroes, Hails Indian Army’s Last-Stand Bravery

Referring to accounts and documentaries on the 1962 battle, Yadav said the story of Rezang La leaves a deep emotional impact on anyone who learns about it. He noted that Indian troops continued to resist Chinese forces until their final bullet, demonstrating extraordinary resolve and commitment to duty despite severe conditions and numerical disadvantage.

The Samajwadi Party chief emphasised that the battle stands as a lasting testament to the Indian Army’s courage, discipline and patriotism. He paid homage to the soldiers who laid down their lives at Rezang La, stating that their sacrifice represents the highest tradition of service to the nation.
