Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the Uttarakhand Mahakautik Fair in Noida, held from December 19 to 25. The event showcases the state’s cuisine, culture, and heritage, promoting traditional arts and strengthening cultural ties with audiences in the NCR.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday marked his presence at the Uttarakhand Mahakautik Fair in Noida, lending official support to one of the region’s most prominent cultural showcases outside the hill state. The fair, being held at a stadium venue in Noida, is scheduled to run from December 19 to December 25.

The Mahakautik Fair serves as a platform to present Uttarakhand’s rich cultural identity to a wider audience, particularly residents of the National Capital Region. During his visit, Chief Minister Dhami toured several stalls set up at the venue, which feature traditional cuisine, handicrafts, folk art, and visual representations of the state’s cultural heritage and well-known regional attributes.

Interacting with exhibitors and organizers, the Chief Minister underscored the importance of preserving and promoting Uttarakhand’s traditions, especially among younger generations living outside the state. He noted that such events play a crucial role in strengthening cultural ties and providing artisans, entrepreneurs, and cultural groups from Uttarakhand with wider exposure and economic opportunities.

The fair is expected to draw significant footfall over the week, offering visitors a comprehensive glimpse into Uttarakhand’s food, music, customs, and lifestyle. Cultural performances and displays are also part of the program, aimed at creating an immersive experience of the state’s heritage.
