Dotasara Pledges Home-Posting for All Third-Grade Teachers if Congress Returns to Power in Rajasthan

Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasara has promised that all third-grade teachers will be posted near their homes if the Congress forms the next government. He warned that unresolved teachers’ issues would prompt the party to support protests from the legislature to the streets.

Jaipur: In a significant political assurance aimed at educators, Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee president Govind Singh Dotasara has promised that all third-grade teachers would be posted near their homes if the Congress forms the next state government. Describing the commitment as unequivocal, Dotasara said not a single third-grade teacher would be forced to serve far from their place of residence under a Congress-led administration.

Addressing concerns that have long troubled the teaching community, Dotasara positioned the pledge as part of a broader commitment to resolve teachers’ grievances through policy reform rather than prolonged neglect. He stressed that the Congress views teachers’ welfare as a core governance issue and not merely an administrative matter to be deferred.

The Congress leader also issued a firm warning to the current government, stating that failure to address teachers’ demands would invite sustained political resistance. He said the Congress party would stand shoulder to shoulder with teachers, supporting their cause both inside the legislature and on the streets if necessary. According to him, the party is prepared to intensify its agitation should the issues continue to remain unresolved.

Dotasara urged the state government to take teachers’ problems seriously and move swiftly toward concrete solutions, emphasizing that delays have only deepened dissatisfaction within the education sector. His remarks come amid ongoing discontent among teachers over postings, transfers, and service conditions, issues that have repeatedly surfaced in Rajasthan’s political discourse.
