vivo S2 is set to return to India after nearly seven years with a curved AMOLED display, 7,050 mAh battery and wireless charging. See how it compares with the vivo V80 5G and X300 FE in 2026.

The vivo S2 marks the return of vivo’s S-series to India after nearly seven years, bringing a curved display, a large battery and a design-first approach aimed at younger buyers. Ahead of its India debut, the vivo S2 is shaping up as a notable addition to the brand’s 2026 smartphone lineup, alongside the latest vivo smartphones already attracting attention in the Indian market.

The vivo S2 will launch in India on 6 August 2026, with early reports pointing to a smartphone built around a bold display and all-day battery life. The expected specifications include a 6.83-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo chipset and feature 8GB of RAM.

For photography, the vivo S2 is expected to feature a 50MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup and a 32MP front camera. The phone is also expected to support 4K video recording on both cameras. Its 7,050 mAh battery is paired with 44W fast charging and wireless charging, giving the device a combination of large display, high battery capacity and charging flexibility.

The large curved screen and 7,050 mAh battery are central to the vivo S2’s positioning, particularly for users who stream, scroll or game through the day. The dual rear camera system, 4K video support on both cameras and wireless charging further strengthen its feature set in this segment.

The upcoming vivo V80 5G represents another direction within the brand’s lineup, with the V-series continuing its focus on camera performance. The vivo V80 5G is expected to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. It is expected to come with 8GB of RAM.

The camera setup on the vivo V80 5G is expected to include a 50MP + 50MP + 8MP triple rear camera system with Zeiss optics, along with a 50MP front camera. The smartphone is also expected to carry a 7,200 mAh battery with 90W fast charging.

While the vivo S2 leans towards a large display and high battery capacity, the vivo V80 5G is positioned around a faster refresh rate and a Zeiss-tuned triple camera system, making the two phones distinct options for buyers prioritising different features.

The vivo X300 FE provides a reference point for vivo’s compact flagship offering. Launched on 6th May 2026, the smartphone features a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and 12GB of RAM.

The vivo X300 FE also features a 50MP + 50MP + 8MP rear camera setup and a 50MP front camera. Its 6,500 mAh battery supports 90W fast charging. The device combines flagship silicon and a versatile triple camera system in a compact form designed for easier one-handed handling, setting a benchmark within vivo’s 2026 lineup for buyers looking for higher-end performance in a smaller form factor.

Early pricing indications place the three smartphones across different price segments. The vivo S2 is expected to cost Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 45,000 in India, with a starting Easy EMI of Rs. 830/month. The vivo V80 5G is expected to be priced at around Rs. 61,999, with a starting Easy EMI of Rs. 830/month. The vivo X300 FE starts at Rs. 79,999 onwards, with a starting Easy EMI of Rs. 830/month.

Prices are subject to change, and buyers are advised to check the official website for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Bajaj Finance is also offering Easy EMI options for buyers considering a vivo smartphone. An Easy EMI Loan offers a loan offer amount of up to Rs. 5 lakh, while an Insta EMI Card offers a loan offer amount of up to Rs. 3 lakh. Both options provide tenures between 3 and 60 months, allowing buyers to spread the cost instead of paying the full price upfront.

Buying a vivo smartphone on Easy EMIs from a Bajaj Finance partner store involves checking loan eligibility online in a few minutes, visiting any of the 1.5 lakh+ partner stores across 4,000+ cities in India, selecting the preferred vivo smartphone and confirming an EMI plan before completing the paperwork in-store.

The partner-store network extends across metro cities and smaller towns, while select models can also be available with zero down payment. Easy EMIs start from Rs. 830, flexible tenures range between 3 and 60 months, and buyers can receive up to 60% off the price of select phones.

With the design-led vivo S2, camera-focused vivo V80 5G and compact vivo X300 FE occupying distinct positions, vivo’s 2026 smartphone lineup offers buyers options across different requirements and budgets, with Easy EMI options from Bajaj Finance providing an alternative way to spread the purchase cost.
