All-New Toyota Hilux Spotted Undisguised in New Delhi Amid India Launch Speculation Intensifies
Toyota’s all-new Hilux has been spotted undisguised during an ad shoot at Aerocity, New Delhi, featuring a Sulfur Metallic exterior and bold new design elements. The next-gen pickup showcases a redesigned interior, advanced features, multiple powertrain options, and a global electric variant, fueling strong speculation of an imminent India launch.
Earlier this week, the next-generation Hilux was observed during an advertising shoot at Aerocity in New Delhi. The vehicle appeared completely undisguised, finished in a striking Sulfur Metallic exterior, prompting strong speculation that its launch in India could be forthcoming.
The pickup truck showcases a sharp and bold exterior design, highlighted by a prominent honeycomb grille, slim LED headlamps connected through black trim, and bold “Toyota” lettering on the front fascia. It also features muscular fenders, a redesigned tailgate, and C-shaped LED tail lamp clusters, reinforcing its rugged and modern stance.
Inside, the new Hilux features a completely redesigned dashboard with a floating 12.3-inch central touchscreen, a new three-spoke steering wheel, and a fully digital instrument cluster. The cabin is equipped with ventilated front seats, a wireless charging pad, a 360-degree camera system, and advanced driver assistance systems.
Toyota offers two engine options for the Hilux, comprising a 2.7-litre petrol engine and a 2.8-litre diesel mild-hybrid powertrain.
In global markets, the Hilux lineup also includes a fully electric variant, powered by a 59.2 kWh battery pack with dual electric motors, delivering a claimed driving range of 240 km under the WLTP cycle.
The appearance of the undisguised model in New Delhi strongly indicates that Toyota may be preparing for a formal launch in India, potentially expanding the premium pickup truck segment in the country.
