An Indian cricketer has signed a luxury rental lease in Mumbai’s Worli area. The 36-month agreement covers a premium Artesia apartment with 3,875 sq ft space, four parking slots, and a total rental value of ₹7.14 crore, registered on June 10, 2026 with rising annual rent structure.
According to information provided by Square Yards, the residential lease was registered on June 10, 2026, based on records accessed from the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Maharashtra. The property is located in the Worli area of Mumbai, widely regarded as one of the city’s most prestigious residential zones known for luxury waterfront developments and a prominent skyline.
The leased unit is situated in the Artesia building and spans an area of 360 square meters, equivalent to 3,875 square feet. The agreement also includes provision for four car parking spaces, reflecting the high-end nature of the property and its exclusivity in Mumbai’s luxury housing segment.
As per official registration documents, the transaction involved a stamp duty payment of ₹1.84 lakh along with a registration fee of ₹1,000. Additionally, a security deposit of ₹74 lakh has been submitted as part of the lease agreement.
The lease term has been set for 36 months. The monthly rent for the first year is fixed at ₹18.50 lakh. The rent will increase by 7 percent annually, raising the monthly rent to ₹19.79 lakh in the second year and ₹21.18 lakh in the third year. Over the full duration of the lease, the total rental value is estimated at ₹7.14 crore.
