After resigning from Meta, Alvin opened a Hokkien Mee food stall at a local food market and began selling noodles. When asked why he left such a prominent company, he responded bluntly, stating that he no longer enjoyed working as a software engineer.

The former engineer further revealed that he currently does not have enough funds to hire additional staff for his business. As a result, his girlfriend has stepped in to help operate the stall and assists him in managing day-to-day responsibilities.
