Authorities also reported incidents of uprooted trees, significant traffic slowdowns, and multiple waterlogged areas across the city. Among the worst affected locations were flooded parking spaces near New BEL Road, where water accumulation disrupted normal activity.

While the sudden downpour brought temporary relief from the recent spell of intense heat, it also exposed the persistent drainage infrastructure challenges faced by the city during extreme weather events. Officials indicated that conditions are expected to gradually improve overnight, with skies likely to turn partly cloudy by tomorrow.
