Power Creator Awards 2026 Announced in Mumbai as Nominations Open for India’s Biggest Creator Economy Celebration
The Power Creator Awards 2026, organised by Times Entertainment, return to Mumbai on August 21 as nominations open for India’s leading creator economy celebration. Featuring over 25 categories across digital genres, the event recognises emerging and established creators through Popular Choice and Jury Choice tracks led by an expert panel.
This edition of the awards introduces more than 25 categories spanning digital content genres, including lifestyle, food, travel, fashion, gaming, and music. The initiative aims to recognise creators who are actively shaping trends, culture, and public conversations across India’s expanding digital landscape.
Winners will be selected under two distinct evaluation tracks. The Popular Choice category will be determined through public voting, while the Jury Choice category will be assessed by an expert panel comprising casting director Mukesh Chhabra, actors Gaurav Gera and Kubbra Sait, and Dhruv Chitgopekar, co-founder and partner at Collective Artists Network.
Nominations have officially opened, inviting participation from creators across all genres and platforms. The process allows self-nominations, channel nominations, and third-party nominations for deserving individuals. The awards have introduced three creator categories based on audience scale. The Spotlight Creators category includes creators with under 100,000 followers and offers one category nomination along with a participation certificate. The Breakthrough Creators category includes creators with 100,000 to 1 million followers, offering one category nomination, a participation certificate, and social media visibility on Instagram. The Headline Creators category includes creators with more than 1 million followers, offering one native article, one category nomination, a participation certificate, and social media visibility on Instagram.
The Power Creator Awards 2026 underscores the growing influence of India’s creator economy as a cultural and commercial force. The upcoming ceremony in Mumbai on August 21 is positioned as a major recognition platform celebrating digital talent across the country.
