Justice Rajiv Lochan Shukla granted bail to five accused, while Justice Jitendra Kumar Sinha granted bail to the remaining three. As recorded in court observations, three accused individuals, Mohammad Sameer, Mohammad Ahmad Raza, and Mohammad Faizan, apologized before the court if any religious sentiments had been hurt. They also reportedly assured the court that they would not repeat such actions in the future.

Their legal representatives argued that the accused had been falsely implicated, had no prior criminal record, and had remained in custody since March 17.
