Soneva has announced its 2026 summer experiences across Soneva Fushi, Soneva Jani and Soneva Secret in the Maldives, featuring expert-led camps, curated dining, family programs and immersive island activities. The season emphasizes slow travel, sustainability and luxury villa living with exclusive guest experiences.
The summer initiative is designed to transform travel into a deeper narrative experience, encouraging longer stays, slower mornings and journeys shaped by exploration, learning and personal connection. Guests are invited not only to change their surroundings but to engage in stories and lasting memories created through expert-led activities and tailored island programming.
Across Soneva Fushi, Soneva Jani and Soneva Secret, each resort presents a distinct identity, offering carefully designed seasonal experiences combined with the privacy and comfort of some of the world’s most exclusive villas and residences. The season is further elevated by the return of Soneva Stars, a lineup of internationally recognised experts whose presence adds depth, entertainment and enrichment to guest experiences.
At Soneva Fushi, the Soneva Stars program features Surf Camp with Luke Stedman from 15 to 30 July. Stedman, born into a renowned surfing family, rose to elite levels on the World Championship Tour, earning Rookie of the Year honours and achieving a career-high world ranking of 10th after competing against leading figures including Kelly Slater. Guests will participate in an expert-led surf camp focused on building confidence and skill in the ocean.
From 21 to 30 July, Soneva Fushi will host Tennis Camp with Todd Woodbridge, one of the most accomplished doubles players in tennis history. Woodbridge holds 22 Grand Slam doubles titles, including 16 men’s doubles and 6 mixed doubles titles, and has secured 83 ATP doubles titles in total. He also maintained the World No. 1 doubles ranking for 204 weeks and will inaugurate The Padel and Tennis Club during his visit.
From 31 July to 9 August at Soneva Fushi and subsequently from 9 to 12 August at Soneva Secret, Carlos Leon Gonzales of the Aponiente Group will lead hospitality programming focused on sustainable luxury gastronomy. With more than 20 years of experience, Gonzales oversees operations at Aponiente and Alevante in Spain. Under his leadership, Aponiente has become globally recognised for redefining fine dining through sustainability and was named the world’s most sustainable restaurant in 2023 by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
At Soneva Jani, the summer season will feature a series of curated island moments reflecting the rhythm of the Maldives. The program opens with the Summer Splash Pool Party on 21 July at Soneva Fushi and concludes with a Summer Colour Festival on the final night of the season. In between, guests will experience Family Olympics on the beach, a Summer Sky Kite Festival, S’mores and Karaoke camp nights, and a family day across the lagoon at Maalhos, creating shared experiences for all generations.
Culinary programming at Soneva Fushi will include Summer Suppers and Long Table dining events at Once Upon a Table, a seafood night curated by Chef Soba, and a two-chef culinary showcase between Chef Rizal and Chef Chintaka. Cooking classes will be led by Chef Manoj, Chef Ravi and Chef Liang, alongside weekly beach barbecues featuring Korean, Indonesian and Maldivian cuisine, complemented by Boduberu drumming under the night sky.
Soneva Jani will also host Full Moon Kayaking sessions across the lagoon, offering guests guided night paddles under bright lunar conditions and starlit horizons. In addition, children and teenagers will collectively create a seasonal mural across July and August, which will remain on the island as a lasting artistic record of the summer.
At Soneva Secret, guests will encounter marine experiences such as a jet ski safari in search of manta rays at the edge of the lagoon, allowing for close and quiet interaction with marine life. The resort will also offer The Secret Family Adventure program, featuring a Five Senses Scavenger Hunt, a family fishing competition from the jetty, an island-wide treasure hunt and a Family Hot Pot Fiesta on the beach, highlighting a more intimate and tranquil dimension of the summer season.
Soneva has also announced a summer offer providing up to 20 percent savings on stays, along with seaplane advantages and curated family inclusions designed to enhance convenience and comfort for travelling guests.
The 2026 summer program across Soneva’s Maldives resorts reflects a growing global trend toward experiential luxury travel, where immersive storytelling, sustainability, expert engagement and multi-generational family experiences define the modern hospitality landscape.
