Ai+ Smartphone Disrupts Market with Nova Series Launch and India’s First Sovereign OS Ecosystem
the Nova Series prioritizes camera excellence and design as fundamental experiences rather than mere features. The Nova 2 is engineered for everyday reliability, sporting a 50MP camera for natural, sharp imagery, a massive 6000mAh battery for all-day endurance, and full dual-mode 5G support. It arrives in five distinct colorways—Purple, Green, Pink, Blue, and Black—designed to reflect specific user moods. Stepping up the performance tier, the Nova 2 Ultra represents the most complete expression of the lineup, featuring a Sony IMX752 50MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 4nm chipset, and VC cooling for sustained performance. The Ultra variant further distinguishes itself with design-led customization, including the NxtHalo dynamic lighting system that responds to incoming calls and messages. Rounding out the trio is the Nova Flip, which reintroduces personality to the smartphone sector through a nostalgic form factor featuring a 6.9-inch AMOLED inner display, a 32MP front camera, and a Glacier White finish inspired by Pantone’s Cloud Dancer.
Technical specifications across the Nova Series remain competitive and robust. The Nova 2 features a 6.745-inch HD+ V-Notch 120Hz display, an Octa-core 6nm processor at 2.3GHz with Mali-G57 MP2 GPU, and memory configurations of 4GB+64GB or 6GB+128GB. The Nova 2 Ultra boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K punch-hole AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 2500 nits peak brightness, paired with 6GB+128GB or 8GB+128GB LPDDR4x and UFS storage. The Nova Flip utilizes a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB UMCP2.2 storage, featuring a 3.1-inch AMOLED cover display alongside its primary screen. While the Nova 2 and Ultra operate on Android 16 with the sovereign NxtQuantum OS, the Nova Flip currently utilizes Android 15. All devices emphasize security through the NxtPrivacy Dashboard and physical durability with IP64 ratings. Pricing for the Nova 2 starts at Rs. 8,999 with sales beginning April 14, 2026, followed by the Nova 2 Ultra on April 17 starting at Rs. 14,999, and the Nova Flip launching in May at Rs. 29,999.
Parallel to the smartphone launch, Ai+ has entered the tablet segment with the PulseTab, a new pillar in the connected ecosystem. Built for practical everyday use, the PulseTab features a 10.95-inch FHD 90Hz display, quad speakers, and dual SIM plus Wi-Fi support. It houses an 8000mAh battery with fast charging and offers 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, expandable up to 1TB. The tablet is slated for a May release on Flipkart and select retail outlets at a price of Rs. 9,999. The ecosystem is further bolstered by the NovaPod Beats, performance-focused audio gear featuring 13mm drivers, ANC, and real-time heart-rate and SpO2 tracking priced at Rs. 1,599, and the NovaPods Air, which offer 22-hour playback and quad-mic ENC for Rs. 899. Additionally, the RotateCam 4G smartwatch introduces a rotating camera and standalone 4G LTE calling for Rs. 4,999. All ecosystem products will be available in May.
This massive product rollout signifies Ai+ Smartphone’s transition from an individual product manufacturer to a provider of a fully integrated, future-ready digital experience. By leveraging NxtQuantum OS—India’s first sovereign mobile operating system—Ai+ and NxtQuantum Shift Technologies are establishing a new standard for privacy-first architecture and equitable access to technology. As the brand continues to redefine the AIoT landscape, it remains rooted in the mission to deliver technology that fits seamlessly into life rather than complicating it, representing a pivotal moment in India’s era of user-owned, locally authored technological advancement.
