US Airstrike Destroys Key Iranian Highway Bridge, Escalates Regional Tensions

The US destroyed Iran’s B1 highway bridge linking Tehran and Karaj in a missile strike aimed at disrupting military logistics. Rising tensions intensify as Iran refuses talks, targets US bases, and global powers block UN action on the Strait of Hormuz crisis.

The United States military has destroyed a critical highway bridge in Iran, significantly escalating tensions in the region, as US President Donald Trump warned that “there is much more to come” and once again urged Tehran to agree to a deal.

According to reports, the US carried out a missile strike on the B1 bridge, a key route connecting Tehran to the nearby city of Karaj. American military officials stated that the route had been used by Iran’s forces to transport missiles and drones. However, Iran’s state media countered the claim, asserting that the bridge had not yet become operational and was not being used by the military.

US officials described the operation as part of a broader effort aimed at disrupting Iran’s military logistics. The strike was intended to halt the movement of missile and drone components across the country, targeting the infrastructure that supports Iran’s defense capabilities.

The conflict shows no signs of de-escalation, as Tehran has refused to engage in talks with Washington under the current circumstances. A spokesperson for Iran’s foreign ministry stated that negotiations are impossible in the present situation. The confrontation has now spread across the wider region, with Iran reportedly targeting American bases in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, Iran has carried out an attack on an Amazon data center in Bahrain.
