As the former Pakistan pacer interacted with fans, one supporter made a special request, urging the coach to focus on defeating India rather than winning the Asia Cup trophy.
In a video circulating on social media, the fan is heard telling Riaz, “Wahab sahab, India par koshish karein. Wahab bhai, India ko beat karna hai humne. Humein (Asia Cup) trophy nahi chahiye, India ko humne harana hai. India nahi chhodna.”
The fan's remarks came after Pakistan secured their place in the final four following their win over Hong Kong.
Pakistan and India have already met once in the tournament, with Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. defeating Pakistan by seven wickets. The match, played on September 5 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, saw Pakistan record a new low in women's T20Is.

Pakistan were bowled out for 55 runs in 18.1 overs, their lowest total in T20Is. India, in response, experienced a brief jitter after Pakistan skipper Fatima Sana struck three times in two overs but completed the run chase in 8.4 overs.
Pakistan will now face defending champions Sri Lanka in the semifinal, while India's semifinal opponent is yet to be decided. If Pakistan defeat Sri Lanka and India win their semifinal, the two bitter rivals will set up a finale date for Sunday in Dubai.
