Renault India Records 108 Percent Sales Growth in April 2026 Driven by Strong Product Demand and Expansion Push
Renault India reported 108 percent year-on-year sales growth in April 2026, driven by strong demand for Triber, Kiger, and Duster models. The company sold 5,413 units, expanded its network to 638 touchpoints, and launched the updated 2026 Triber with enhanced features and improved interiors across variants.
The strong performance underscores sustained double-digit growth momentum following the launch of the new-generation Renault Triber and Kiger in September 2025. Further strengthening its portfolio, the newly introduced Renault Duster has also received a positive market response, with demand accelerating from the very first week of deliveries initiated in the latter part of April.
Buoyed by rising consumer demand, Renault India has expanded its retail and service footprint across the country. The company recently inaugurated a new “R store” along with a workshop facility in Ranchi, taking its total sales and service touchpoints to 638, reinforcing its nationwide accessibility and after-sales network strength.
In line with its product strategy, Renault India has also launched the 2026 version of the Triber multipurpose vehicle in the Indian market. The updated model features significant interior enhancements, including a dual-tone dashboard and a floating 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. A redesigned centre console further improves practicality and usability for everyday driving conditions.
The 2026 Triber lineup also expands its feature offerings across variants. The Evolution variant now includes steering-mounted controls, a day and night inside rear-view mirror, and a rear cabin lamp. The Techno variant adds a driver armrest, height-adjustable seat, rear defogger, third-row power socket, front tweeters, and powered outside rear-view mirrors. The top-end Emotion variant introduces segment-first automatic climate control, positioning the model as a more premium offering in its category.
The refreshed Triber is available in four variants: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion. Prices begin at Rs 5.80 lakh for the base Authentic variant and go up to Rs 8.48 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec Emotion trim.
The strong sales performance, expanding product lineup, and growing dealership network collectively highlight Renault India’s accelerating momentum in the Indian automotive market as it strengthens its position in the mass-market passenger vehicle segment.
