Governor Varma further noted that Dr. Ambedkar was a fierce advocate for gender equality, successfully ensuring that equal rights and universal adult franchise became the bedrock of the country’s legal framework.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis underscored the transformative power of Ambedkar’s vision, stating that he demonstrated how "one individual, one pen and one book" could redefine a nation through the Constitution. Expanding on the leader's multifaceted legacy, the Chief Minister observed that Ambedkar’s contributions reached far beyond social reform into the realm of sophisticated economic thought.
