The project will serve as the anchor for an expansive commemorative complex spanning nearly 5 hectares of land on the Dadar coastline. This site, which formerly served as mill land, is being transformed to house the massive installation. Every administrative and structural detail of the development reflects the scale of Ambedkar’s legacy, ensuring that the physical dimensions of the monument match the historical weight of his contributions to the nation.
The emergence ofthis landmark signifies a profound addition to the Mumbai skyline, blending engineering precision with historical reverence. As the ‘Statue of Equality’ takes its place overlooking the sea, it solidifies the Dadar coastline as a focal point of national heritage.
