STF Gurugram Apprehends Notorious Deepal Nandal Gang Sharp Shooter After High-Stakes Gunfight
In a high-stakes encounter near Bandhwari village, the Gurugram STF arrested Nivesh alias Dilla, a sharp shooter for the Deepak Nandal gang. The suspect opened fire on police, hitting two officers' bulletproof jackets before being wounded in retaliatory fire. The operation thwarted a planned extortion attack on a local businessman and led to the recovery of an illegal pistol from the wanted criminal.
The intensity of the shootout was underscored by the fact that two police personnel were struck by bullets, which were fortunately deflected by their bulletproof jackets. Exercising strategic counter-fire, the STF team wounded the accused, effectively neutralizing the threat and taking him into custody at the scene. An illegal pistol was recovered from his possession.
