US Strikes Iran’s B1 Bridge, Killing Eight in Missile Route Attack

The United States struck Iran’s B1 bridge near Tehran, killing eight and injuring 95 civilians. Part of Operation Epic Fury with Israel, the attack targeted a suspected missile route, prompting Iranian retaliation threats, civilian targeting accusations, and rising global oil prices.

In a dramatic escalation of tensions, the United States launched a strike on Iran’s B1 bridge near Tehran, killing eight people in what officials described as a targeted missile route attack.

The strike, reported last updated one hour ago, targeted the 136-meter-high B1 bridge, which was under construction to link the capital to Karaj. US officials had identified the structure as a future route for Iran’s ballistic missiles and drones toward Israel. The attack forms part of Operation Epic Fury, launched February 28 in coordination with Israel.

Iranian authorities stated that 95 people were wounded in the strike, identifying the victims as picnickers and asserting that there was no military presence at the site. The incident has intensified accusations that the attack deliberately targeted civilians.

In response to the strike, Donald Trump posted video footage of the explosion online, warning of further action unless Tehran agrees to negotiate. His statement underscored the administration’s position amid rapidly escalating tensions.
