P.F. Chang’s Marks Strategic Expansion into North India with Grand Debut at HLP Gallerria in Mohali

P.F. Chang’s officially debuts in the Tricity with a new restaurant at HLP Gallerria, Mohali. Marking its eighth outlet in India, the globally celebrated American Pan-Asian brand brings its signature 700-degree wok-fire cooking, MSG-free culinary heritage, and iconic dishes like Dynamite Shrimp to North India’s vibrant food scene under the leadership of Gourmet Investments Pvt. Ltd.

The globally celebrated culinary powerhouse P.F. Chang’s, renowned for its elevated American Pan-Asian cuisine and immersive dining experiences, has officially launched its inaugural restaurant in the Tricity at HLP Gallerria, Mohali. This landmark opening signals a pivotal chapter in the brand’s strategic expansion across North India, reinforcing its growth trajectory within the country. Established in 1993 by Paul Fleming and Philip Chiang, P.F. Chang’s has dedicated over three decades to honoring the 2,000-year-old tradition of wok cooking, utilizing high-heat techniques and scratch preparation to deliver layered Asian flavors to a global audience across more than 300 restaurants in over 20 countries.

The Mohali establishment represents the eighth Indian outlet for the brand, joining an elite portfolio of seven existing restaurants located throughout Mumbai—specifically in Lower Parel (Lodha), Khar, Andheri, and Borivali (Sky City Mall)—and the Delhi-NCR regions of DLF Mall of India (Noida), Ambience Mall (Vasant Kunj), and CyberHub (Gurugram). This expansion moves the brand beyond established metro strongholds into high-potential Northern markets. Ramit Bharti Mittal, Executive Chairman & Director of Gourmet Investments Pvt. Ltd, noted that the entry into Mohali is perfectly timed to coincide with the region's vibrant food culture and the evolving preferences of modern Indian diners who seek bold, globally benchmarked experiences. Taylor Viersen, VP of Global Brand Development at P.F. Chang’s, further emphasized that the Tricity market is a proud milestone and a top priority for the brand’s "wok-first" culinary heritage.

Central to the P.F. Chang’s experience is the signature 700-degree wok fire, a precision technique designed to preserve texture and flavor intensity while ensuring all dishes remain completely MSG-free. The Mohali menu features world-famous classics such as Chang’s Lettuce Wraps, Dynamite Shrimp, Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken, and Lo Mein, alongside the iconic Great Wall of Chocolate. Catering specifically to local sensibilities, the brand has curated an expansive selection for Indian diners, including vegetarian and Jain options, as well as chicken-forward classics that resonate with Punjab’s affinity for robust flavors. Culinary Head Jerry Thomas highlighted that the Mohali outpost also introduces locally crafted expressions like Hunan Chili Chicken, Ring of Fire Shrimp, and Crispy Lotus Root, all prepared with fresh ingredients and sauces made from scratch daily.

Situated on the Ground Floor of West Court HLP Gallerria in Sector 62, Mohali, the restaurant operates from 12 pm to 11 pm, offering stylish interiors tailored for family gatherings and social dining. As P.F. Chang’s continues its measured expansion, it remains committed to blending tradition with innovation to deliver purposeful Asian flavors. This debut not only introduces a world-class culinary standard to the Tricity but also solidifies the brand's position as a premier destination for those who appreciate the intersection of ancient technique and contemporary hospitality.
