Nilkamal Homes Transforms Retail Landscape with ‘Safe Space Studios’ for Content Creators in Bengaluru
Nilkamal Homes launches 'Safe Space Studios' in Bengaluru, offering content creators free access to its flagship Marathahalli showroom as a professional production set. Operating every Tuesday and Thursday night, this initiative by Nilkamal Limited provides premium, curated interiors for reels and podcasts, aiming to expand across 70+ stores to support India's growing creator economy.
The program transforms the flagship Nilkamal Homes Bengaluru showroom, located at NTR Plaza, Outer Ring Rd, Marathahalli, into a sophisticated production hub every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM. During these exclusive hours, the store’s curated interiors serve as versatile backdrops for videos, reels, podcasts, and diverse digital media. While the Marathahalli store functions by day as a premier furniture showroom inviting customers to explore an expansive range of home décor in thoughtfully designed settings, its nocturnal evolution into a dynamic content studio offers multiple curated zones. These areas range from opulent bedroom settings to elegantly styled living and sofa spaces, granting creators significant flexibility and creative control superior to conventional studios.
Speaking on the launch, Mr. Parekh, President at Nilkamal Homes, emphasized that creators are the architects of modern brand narratives whose potential is often limited by a lack of aesthetic, well-lit environments. He noted that Bengaluru, as the epicenter of India’s digital ecosystem, was the natural choice to pilot this project. Interested creators can apply through the official Instagram page @NilkamalHomes, where selected individuals are granted a two-hour shooting slot. To ensure a seamless experience, Nilkamal Homes provides on-site support and access to various styled areas, including living rooms, dining setups, and bedroom spaces.
As part of the legendary Nilkamal Limited group, Nilkamal Homes operates over 70 stores across India and remains a leader in redefining modern living through well-made furniture. While the Marathahalli studio serves as the initial pilot, the brand intends to scale the ‘Safe Space Studios’ concept across its national network of more than 70 stores based on the initial response. This expansion would establish one of the largest networks of free, creator-friendly studio spaces in the country, marking a significant milestone in how corporate retail entities support and integrate with the digital content creator community.
