Antara Care Home in Noida Secures Landmark First NABH Accreditation for District

Antara Care Home in Noida Sector 66 makes history as the first senior care facility in the district to receive prestigious NABH Care Home Accreditation. As part of the Max Group, this 53-bed facility sets a new national standard for clinical governance, resident safety, and professional geriatric care, addressing India’s urgent need for structured senior living as the elderly population rises.

The Antara Care Home in Noida has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first senior care facility in the district to be awarded the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) Care Home Accreditation. This prestigious recognition establishes a rigorous set of safety and quality norms specifically designed to standardize care delivery in residential facilities. The Noida Care Home in Sector 66 marks the second facility within the Antara network to receive this accreditation, following the 2025 certification of its Gurugram Care Home, which was the first facility in India to receive such honors from the country’s apex healthcare quality body. As India’s only fully integrated senior care ecosystem and the sole assisted living provider with NABH-accredited homes in North India, Antara Senior Care continues its dedicated pursuit of excellence in personalized aging-related care, transparent operations, and family involvement in care decisions to meet the highest national standards.

Ishaan Khanna, CEO of Antara Assisted Care Services, emphasized that choosing a care home is a decision rooted in trust, which the NABH accreditation validates through defined processes and independently verified standards executed by qualified professionals. The organization aims to extend this framework across its entire network in Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, and Chennai to raise the bar for senior care expectations in India. During the evaluation, the 53-bed Noida Sector 66 facility was assessed on critical parameters including resident safety, clinical governance, staff training, medication management, infection control, and physical infrastructure such as 24x7 potable water and electricity. The rigorous assessment further encompassed bio-medical waste management, emergency preparedness, and the protection of resident rights through grievance redressal mechanisms.

Prem Singh Rathore, Chief Quality Officer at Antara Senior Care, noted that while senior care in India has historically been informal and fragmented, NABH accreditation represents a decisive shift toward structured, accountable, and scalable ecosystems. This institutional preparedness is urgent as India’s senior population is projected to double to approximately 350 million by 2050, with the 80-plus demographic growing by 279 percent according to UNFPA and JLL-ASLI reports. The Sector 66 facility, which is FFRO-licensed, offers short, medium, and long-term living solutions, including clinically supervised transition care after surgery. Its infrastructure features 24x7 nursing, geriatric-trained teams, and specialized meals planned by dieticians. Launched in 2013 as part of the $7-billion Max Group, Antara continues to expand its footprint with upcoming residential communities in Noida’s Sector-150 and Gurugram’s Estate 360, alongside its AGEasy platform which has touched over 6.5 lakh lives, reinforcing a commitment to dignified and professional senior care.
