Netrack India Expands Outdoor Cabinet Range With FMOD Series for Field Deployments

Built for demanding environments, Netrack India's FMOD Series Electrical Enclosures provide weather protection, durability and consistent outdoor performance. The expansion adds to Netrack's product catalogue and strengthens its position among Outdoor Cabinets Manufacturers operating in India.

The move comes as telecom rollouts, edge nodes, utility control panels and outdoor IT installations have increased across the country, alongside demand for weatherproof enclosures capable of handling field conditions including dust, rain, humidity and temperature fluctuations.

The FMOD Series enclosures are manufactured from galvanized steel and are fully welded rather than bolted together. They feature a dual-coat powder coating over a seven-tank pretreatment process meeting ASTM standards, with a primer followed by pure polyester powder coating to support resistance against corrosion and surface degradation over time.

The enclosures have an IP56 protection rating with fan cooling installed and IP66 protection without fans. Fan mounting can be provided on the sides or at the top through a canopy and filter arrangement, maintaining the IP56 rating while enabling active thermal management.

The range extends from 6RU to 27RU, with 600mm and 800mm width options and depths ranging from 600mm to 800mm. Front and rear doors feature a 3-point lock and key. A toughened glass front door option is also available for applications requiring visibility inside the cabinet.

All FMOD Series units are designed for floor mounting on a plinth and have a static load capacity of 750 kg uniformly distributed, supporting most field equipment loads. The 19-inch mounting angles follow DIN 41494 and IEC 60529 equivalent standards, supporting compatibility with standard rack-mount equipment.

Manufacturing and quality controls are supported by certifications under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and ISO 45001, covering quality management, environmental management, information security and occupational health. The certifications also support procurement requirements and audit checklists for buyers.
