HDFC Life has activated an expedited claim settlement framework for families affected by Assam floods, allowing nominees and legal heirs to initiate life insurance claims with death proof from authorities.

HDFC Life has enabled an expedited claim settlement framework for families impacted by the recent floods in Assam, allowing nominees or legal heirs of policyholders to initiate life insurance claims by providing proof of death issued by the Local Government, Police or Hospitals.

Sameer Yogishwar, Chief Operating Officer, HDFC Life, said the company is committed to supporting families of policyholders affected by the calamity and ensuring priority handling of claims.
