Galgotias University Students Secure INR 3 Crore Investment for AI and Cybersecurity Startup Cybergenix

Two students from Galgotias University have secured an INR 3 crore investment for Cybergenix Security Pvt Ltd, an Artificial Intelligence and cybersecurity startup developing advanced AI infrastructure, digital twin systems, automation frameworks, and behaviour-aware intelligent technologies supported by institutional innovation ecosystems.

In a major breakthrough for India’s emerging student-led technology ecosystem, two students from Galgotias University have secured an investment commitment of INR 3 crore for their Artificial Intelligence and cybersecurity startup, Cybergenix Security Pvt Ltd. The funding marks a significant milestone for young innovators building advanced technology ventures within academic institutions.

The startup was founded by Divyansh Kumar Mishra from the Class of 2026, currently pursuing a Diploma in Computer Science Engineering, and Prakhar Kumar Singh from the Class of 2029, currently pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering with specialisation in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics. The investment follows the successful completion of the startup’s due diligence process, while the Share Subscription Agreement is presently under execution.

Speaking about the company’s vision, Divyansh Kumar Mishra said Cybergenix is working across Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, automation, and intelligent digital systems to develop a context-driven AI ecosystem aimed at addressing limitations visible across existing AI infrastructure. He stated that despite rapid AI adoption, many current systems continue to function as fragmented tools with limited contextual understanding, weak personalisation, and inadequate integration between intelligence, automation, and security systems.

Prakhar Kumar Singh highlighted the technological framework under development at Cybergenix, stating that the company is building an integrated architecture combining large language models, self-learning engines, automation frameworks, cybersecurity systems, and digital twin technology. According to him, the objective is to create adaptive and behaviour-aware AI infrastructure capable of understanding workflows, user intent, and operational environments in real time.

Among the technologies currently under development is a system-level AI assistant capable of interacting with applications, files, workflows, and operating environments through contextual intelligence and voice interaction. The startup is also developing digital twin systems designed to create intelligent virtual representations of users for workflow execution, meetings, task management, and decision support. Additional capabilities being developed include self-learning behavioural adaptation, emotion-aware interaction, cross-platform automation, voice and vision interfaces, and cybersecurity-first deployment infrastructure.

Cybergenix has also received institutional support through IIT Ropar’s iHub AWaDH under the North Sprint Edition at Galgotias Ideathon 2025. The startup has further earned recognition through platforms including Smart India Hackathon, Eureka, and multiple technology and innovation communities.

Commenting on the investment, angel investor Adil Jamal said many young founders are currently building applications on top of existing AI systems, but Cybergenix stood out because its founders were focused on deeper infrastructure, behavioural intelligence, automation, security, and the interaction of such systems within real-world environments. He stated that the founders were attempting technically demanding work and had demonstrated unusual persistence and clarity at an early stage.

Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, Chief Executive Officer of Galgotias University, said student-led ventures are emerging from a rapidly expanding innovation and technology ecosystem within the university. He stated that student teams from the university had recently been selected to represent India at the Global EDVentures Startup Competition in Hong Kong, while several students had developed live applications on Apple iOS platforms and gained recognition through global technology and innovation networks.

He further stated that the ability of students to attract funding commitments of such scale at an early stage reflected the growing seriousness with which young founders are approaching technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. According to him, students are now gaining exposure to startup building, product development, Artificial Intelligence, app ecosystems, and interdisciplinary collaboration much earlier in their academic journeys.

Dr. Galgotia also highlighted the role of advanced infrastructure, including the NVIDIA DGX H200 high-performance computing ecosystem, in enabling students to work on AI systems and computational challenges requiring significant computing capabilities. He said such environments help create the confidence required to pursue ambitious technological ideas beyond classroom assignments.

The founders stated that their long-term objective is to build an integrated AI ecosystem combining Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, automation, and digital identity into a single intelligent platform capable of delivering highly personalised and autonomous interaction systems.

The development reflects a broader transformation underway across the Galgotias University campus, where students are increasingly building products, experimenting with emerging technologies, engaging with investors, and developing deployable systems alongside their academic programmes. Startups such as Cybergenix are now emerging as examples of how university-backed innovation, incubation, and high-performance technology ecosystems are translating into real ventures, products, and large-scale funding outcomes.
