Vyshlo Launches Premium Occasion Wear Rental and Resale Platform Across India
Vyshlo has launched its premium occasion wear rental, resale, and direct purchase platform across major Indian cities, offering designer fashion for weddings and celebrations through a circular commerce model. The company combines rentals, resale, doorstep delivery, dry cleaning, and sustainability while planning expansion into the United States in 2026.
The platform enables vendors and individual listers to showcase designer occasion wear while offering customers a streamlined experience to rent, purchase, or resell high-end garments. The collection spans bridal and festive categories including sarees, embroidered skirts, sherwanis, gowns, Indo-western ensembles, festive apparel, menswear, womenswear, and children’s clothing.
Vyshlo’s rental service includes doorstep delivery, post-event pickup, professional dry cleaning, and flexible rental durations, allowing customers to access luxury fashion without permanent ownership. Alongside peer-to-peer listings, the platform also offers exclusive designer partnerships and a dedicated in-house signature collection curated by Vyshlo.
The company stated that the platform was designed for modern consumers seeking flexibility, variety, and access to premium occasion wear without the financial and storage burden associated with one-time purchases.
Vyshlo was founded following a trademark dispute involving its original brand identity, VastraLoop. The company said the platform was rebuilt with a new philosophy centered on emotional connection rather than conventional retail commerce.
According to the company, the name “Vyshlo” represents the moment when an outfit feels complete and confidence aligns with a memorable occasion, transforming fashion into a personal experience associated with celebrations and milestones.
“We are not in the clothing business. We are in the moment business. Every rental, resale, or outfit discovery on Vyshlo becomes someone’s Vyshlo moment — a wedding, a celebration, a family gathering, a day they will remember for years,” the company’s founder said.
Vyshlo enters India’s rapidly expanding occasion wear market at a time when the country’s wedding industry alone is estimated to exceed 50 billion dollars annually. Urban consumers regularly attend weddings, receptions, engagement ceremonies, festive gatherings, cocktail parties, and destination celebrations, often purchasing expensive garments for single-use occasions.
The company said its platform seeks to challenge the traditional ownership model by positioning fashion as an experience-driven service rather than a permanent purchase. Through its circular commerce ecosystem, customers can monetize underutilized wardrobes by listing garments for rental or resale, extending the lifecycle of premium apparel.
A key feature introduced by the platform is “Vyshlo Moments,” which tracks how many celebrations a garment has been part of, reinforcing the company’s circular fashion philosophy and encouraging repeated garment use.
“You do not need to own the outfit — you need the moment, the confidence, and the experience. At Vyshlo, we are making premium fashion directly accessible to everyone,” the founder added.
The company emphasized that sustainability forms a core component of its business model. Each garment listed for rental undergoes professional cleaning and maintenance before being reintroduced into circulation, reducing fashion waste and lowering demand for fast-fashion production.
Following its India rollout, Vyshlo announced plans to expand into the United States during the fourth quarter of 2026. The expansion will target major metropolitan markets including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and Houston.
Headquartered in California in the United States, with operational activities managed from Hyderabad in India, Vyshlo is currently available through iOS, Android, and web platforms.
The launch marks a significant development in India’s evolving fashion technology and circular commerce sector, positioning Vyshlo as a major entrant in the growing premium fashion rental and resale market while aligning consumer demand with affordability, accessibility, and sustainability.
