Mumbai Police Registers FIR Against Celina Jaitly’s Husband Peter Haag; Look Out Circular Issued Amid Serious Domestic Abuse Allegations
Mumbai Police have filed an FIR against Peter Haag, husband of actress Celina Jaitly, over serious allegations of assault, intimidation, and harassment. A Look Out Circular has been issued as investigations continue alongside domestic violence proceedings and custody-related disputes involving their children.
According to reports by the news agency ANI, the FIR was registered on Friday at the Versova Police Station in Mumbai. The case has been filed under Sections 85, 115(2), 351(2), and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. Authorities confirmed that the criminal action has been initiated in addition to ongoing legal proceedings under the Domestic Violence Act, 2005.
In a further escalation of the matter, Mumbai Police have also issued a Look Out Circular against Peter Haag after he allegedly failed to cooperate with the investigation. Officials stated that the probe into the matter remains active.
The development follows earlier legal action taken in November last year, when Celina Jaitly approached a court in Andheri, initiating proceedings against her husband under the Domestic Violence Act. Court documents indicate that she had sought both interim and ex-parte relief from the court in connection with the allegations.
During the ongoing proceedings, Celina Jaitly reportedly stated that she had been in Austria for the past two weeks attending divorce hearings. She further alleged that despite appearing in court, she was denied access to her three children. According to her statement, the children have been kept away from her and influenced against her.
Celina Jaitly married Peter Haag in 2010. The couple welcomed twin sons in 2012. Five years later, they had another set of twins; however, one of the children passed away due to a hypoplastic heart condition. At present, the actress has three children named Winston, Viraj, and Arthur.
In a separate allegation made in September 2025, Celina Jaitly claimed that she was taken to a post office under the pretext of receiving a gift for their 15th wedding anniversary, where she was instead served divorce papers.
The case continues to draw attention as law enforcement agencies intensify their investigation, marking a serious escalation in an already complex and emotionally charged legal battle involving allegations of domestic abuse, custodial conflict, and marital discord.
