Major Drug Crackdown in Kaithal: Two Arrested with 6.21 Grams of Smack in Guhla Police Station Operation
Kaithal police achieved a major success under an anti-narcotics operation in Guhla area by arresting two accused with 6.21 grams of smack (heroin). Acting on secret information, the police intercepted a motorcycle and recovered drugs. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
Acting swiftly on confidential intelligence, officers received information near Duserpur Mor village that Jaspal, a resident of village Kharka, and Dalbir Singh were traveling on a motorcycle from Kharkha towards Guhla via Duserpur Mor. Both individuals were reportedly involved in criminal activities.
Following the tip-off, police immediately established a checkpoint at Duserpur Mor and initiated a search operation. After a short wait, a motorcycle carrying two suspicious persons was intercepted by the police team. Upon verification, the individuals were identified as Jaspal and Dalbir Singh.
A thorough search of the accused led to the recovery of 6.21 grams of smack (heroin) concealed in a plastic packet in their possession. Following the recovery, both accused were taken into custody on the spot.
A formal case was registered against the accused at Police Station Guhla. Assistant Sub-Inspector Sandeep Kumar reached the location and completed the initial legal proceedings, subsequently arresting both individuals as per procedure.
The arrested accused are scheduled to be produced before the court, and further interrogation is currently underway to uncover possible links in the drug supply network.
This successful operation underscores the continued vigilance of law enforcement agencies in curbing drug trafficking activities in the region and reinforcing public safety.
