AI-Generated Video Reignites Controversy as JPMorgan Executive Lorna Hajdini Denies Serious Allegations in Ongoing Lawsuit
An AI-generated video linked to a lawsuit involving JPMorgan executive Lorna Hajdini has gone viral, intensifying scrutiny of serious allegations including abuse, harassment, and coercion. Hajdini denies all claims, while JPMorgan cites an internal investigation finding no evidence supporting the accusations.
The lawsuit, filed on April 27 in the New York County Supreme Court, accuses Lorna Hajdini, who serves in JPMorgan’s Leveraged Finance division, of misconduct toward a junior male colleague. The allegations include sexual abuse, racial harassment, coercion, and professional retaliation. Additional claims referenced in the filing also allege that the complainant was drugged with substances including Rohypnol and Viagra and was threatened regarding his bonus compensation.
The AI-generated clip is not authentic footage of any alleged incident. It is described as a recreated visual interpretation based on publicly available reporting and details drawn from legal filings, rather than verified video evidence.
Lorna Hajdini has strongly denied all allegations, stating that she has never engaged in any inappropriate conduct and asserting that she has never even visited the location where the alleged incident is said to have occurred.
The case has also drawn institutional response. JPMorgan has firmly rejected all allegations, with a spokesperson confirming that an internal investigation conducted by its Human Resources team and in-house legal department found no evidence supporting the claims. The review reportedly included examination of team phone records and email communications. According to the spokesperson, several employees cooperated with the investigation, while the complainant declined to participate and refused to provide key supporting details.
Reports also indicate that the lawsuit, initially publicized by media outlets citing court filings, has undergone procedural corrections, with portions of the filing reportedly withdrawn for amendment.
As the legal proceedings continue, the emergence of AI-generated content based on the case has added a new layer of controversy, raising concerns over the circulation of synthetic media in sensitive and ongoing judicial matters.
The dispute remains active in court, with all allegations unproven and subject to judicial review.
