ant Singh, known for his outspoken nature, remains a prominent figure in Bihar politics. He has been elected as a legislator from Mokama five times. He first won the seat in 2005 on a Janata Dal (United) ticket and retained it in 2010. In 2015, he contested as an independent candidate and emerged victorious. He secured another win in 2020 on a Rashtriya Janata Dal ticket. In 2022, he lost his position after being convicted in a criminal case, serving only two years of his term. However, in 2025, he returned to the assembly, winning once again from Mokama on a Janata Dal (United) ticket.
