Tragic End for Young YouTuber in Hyderabad Following Emotional Distress
Hyderabad YouTuber and BSc student Bonu Komali was found dead in her Manikonda flat following a tragic breakup. The 21-year-old Visakhapatnam native sent a final "I love you" text to her mother in Kuwait before the incident. Police are investigating the role of emotional distress and isolation in this tragic case.
The incident came to light after Komali’s mother, who is currently employed in Kuwait, received a poignant late-night message from her daughter. The text, sent at approximately 1:34 AM, reportedly read, "I love you mummy so much. Please take good care of my younger brother." Distressed when subsequent calls to Komali went unanswered and her phone was switched off, the mother alerted a local friend in Hyderabad. Upon reaching the LIG Chitrapuri Colony flat later that afternoon, friends found the door locked from the inside. Raidurgam police were summoned to the scene and, upon forcing entry, discovered the young student had ended her life.
Preliminary investigations by the police point toward severe emotional distress stemming from a fractured long-term relationship. Digital evidence and a personal diary recovered from the site detail a three-year bond with a 27-year-old software engineer and fellow content creator. The entries reveal a young woman struggling with the finality of a recent breakup; her last notes described a lingering hope for reconciliation despite the individual’s clear rejection of her advances just a day prior. Police confirmed that the man had recently sent her messages requesting that she cease contact, a factor that investigators believe may have intensified her sense of despair.
The Raidurgam Police have registered a case of suspicious death and are currently reviewing CCTV footage and mobile records to piece together the final hours leading up to the tragedy. This loss serves as a somber reminder of the hidden vulnerabilities within the youth population, particularly those navigating the pressures of higher education and public digital personas in isolation. Mental health advocates have reiterated the importance of reaching out for professional support during times of crisis, urging those in distress to utilize national resources such as the Tele-MANAS helpline at 14416.
