Sanjay Singh Calls for Six-Day Foot March from Rampur to Amroha to Defend Voting and Constitutional Rights

Sanjay Singh has announced a six-day foot march from Rampur to Amroha starting December 21, calling on citizens to unite in defense of voting rights and the Constitution. The padyatra will continue until December 26, with registration open via phone for public participation.

Rampur, Uttar Pradesh — Senior politician Sanjay Singh has announced a six-day foot march from Rampur to Amroha, urging citizens to step out and actively participate in what he describes as a collective effort to safeguard democratic and constitutional rights. The march is scheduled to begin on December 21 and conclude on December 26, spanning key areas across western Uttar Pradesh.

Addressing the public ahead of the initiative, Singh framed the padyatra as a people-driven movement focused on protecting the right to vote and upholding the Constitution. He appealed to residents across Rampur, Amroha, and surrounding districts to join the march in large numbers, emphasizing unity and civic participation as central to the campaign’s message.

According to the announcement, individuals interested in taking part in the foot march can register their participation through a missed call to 7500040004 or by contacting 8588841358 directly. Organizers said the registration process is intended to help coordinate participation and manage logistical arrangements throughout the six-day journey.

The padyatra will move step by step from Rampur toward Amroha, with supporters expected to join at various points along the route. Singh’s call comes at a time when political discourse around electoral rights and constitutional values has intensified, giving the march broader symbolic and political significance.

As preparations begin, the initiative is being positioned as a public demonstration rooted in democratic engagement rather than a conventional political rally. With its focus on voter rights and constitutional protections, the march is expected to draw attention to issues central to India’s democratic framework and potentially energize political participation at the grassroots level in the region.
